Dr. Yoo Jin Chung is a Prosthodontist who has Diplomate in International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI).
an advanced specialty training from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she honed her passion for blending art, science, and medicine to restore not just smiles — but confidence.
Her journey started when she moved from South Korea to the U.S. alone at just 13 years old, originally chasing a dream of becoming a fashion designer. But after witnessing her father’s fight with cancer, her perspective shifted. Inspired by the power of medicine and healing, she found her calling in dentistry — and discovered that prosthodontics was the perfect mix of esthetics and purpose.
Before even stepping into dental school, Dr. Chung worked as a chemist and published award-winning research with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). That drive carried into her dental career, where she received numerous research awards and honors — including the prestigious George and Eleanore Meade Award, NIH scholarships, and national recognition from organizations like International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the Hinman Dental Society.
Today, Dr. Chung holds multiple advanced certifications focused on dental implant surgery, full-mouth rehabilitations, and advanced esthetic restorations. Her approach doesn’t stop at teeth — she’s also certified in facial esthetics, offering BOTOX, dermal fillers, and PDO thread lifts to help patients look and feel their best from every angle.
As much as Dr. Chung loves transforming smiles, her greatest joy comes from being a mom. Spending time with her children and family is what keeps her grounded. She also embraces her creative side through music — having played the violin in orchestras, she still finds inspiration in the rhythm and harmony of life beyond the clinic.
